Concerning the taxation of ward lands

The lords of articles declare that the ward lands shall pay taxation as well as others, and ordain the sheriffs of the shires within whose bounds the said ward lands lie to be charged to make payment of the taxation of the same ward lands, according to the tax roll made thereof for the bygone only, and for the time to come, remit the same to the commissioners deputed to convene after the parliament.
