The first article is that in the same parliament, first and foremost it shall be ordained concerning the justice to be implemented through the entire kingdom, both in general and individually, both in the Highlands and in the Lowland regions, by the justiciars, sheriffs and other faithful and sufficient officers, so transgressors shall be suppressed by common law and be punished without the exception of any persons whatsoever.
