Ratification to [John Lyon], laird of Auldbar of his infeftment of the patronage of the kirk of Rescobie

Our sovereign lord and estates of this present parliament ratify, approve and perpetually confirm the resignation, demission and infeftment following thereupon made and granted by Master George Young, sometime archdean of St Andrews, of the kirk of Rescobie and patronage thereof, parsonage and vicarage of the same, in favour of the late Sir Thomas Lyon of Auldbar, his male heirs and assignees, and also the resignation, demission and infeftment following thereupon made and granted by Master Alexander Gledstanes, now archdean of St Andrews, with consent of George [Gledstanes], archbishop of St Andrews and chapter thereof, to and in favour of John Lyon, now of Auldbar, his male heirs and assignees, of the foresaid kirk of Rescobie and patronage thereof, parsonage and vicarage of the same, in all and sundry heads, points and conditions therein contained; and decree and ordain the foresaid rights and securities to have [been] and to be good, valid and effectual rights and securities to them for possessing and enjoying of the heritable right of the foresaid patronage of the kirk of Rescobie, parsonage and vicarage thereof, after the form and tenor of his said infeftments granted to him thereupon in all points.
