Act regarding the abolishing of the secretary's register

Our sovereign lord and estates of parliament ratify and approve the act made by his majesty and estates assembled in the last convention held at Edinburgh upon 27 January last, regarding the abolishing and abrogating of the secretary's register, and decree and ordain the said register to have been suppressed, expired and null since the said 27 January last, and to be null and expired in all time coming. And our said sovereign lord and estates foresaid declare that the said secretary's act preceding the said day shall not prejudice any person to call and pursue the makers of the reversions, discharges and other writs contained in the foresaid act and their heirs for perfecting and fulfilling of the same reversions and other writs, notwithstanding the non-registration thereof within the time prescribed by the said secretary's act, except the same be already declared null by decreet and sentence of the lords of session, party compearing or not compearing.
