The parliament of the said most excellent prince James, by the grace of God, king of Scotland, England, France and Ireland and defender of the faith, held in Perth on 11 July in the year of the Lord 1604 by the said [John Graham], earl of Montrose, commissioner of our supreme lord the king, and by all the estates of the realm, together with Master John Moncrieff, sheriff depute of Perth, George [Keith], earl Marischal, Francis [Hay], earl of Erroll, constable of Scotland, and David Hay, dempster. Suits were called and the court affirmed.
