Ratification to [Sir John Murray], laird of Tullibardine, master of the household

Our sovereign lord and estates of this present parliament, having consideration of the good, true and thankful service done to his majesty and his predecessors, specially tending to the setting forward of the common welfare of this realm by his highness's familiar servant Sir John Murray, one of his majesty's master householders, and his predecessors these many years bygone, sufficiently known to his majesty, therefore ratify, approve and confirm the charter and infeftment made by his majesty after his highness's lawful and perfect age of 25 years complete and general revocation made of before, to the said Sir John Murray of Tullibardine and his male heirs, lawfully procreated or to be procreated of his body, which failing to his nearest and lawful male heirs whatsoever bearing the surname and arms of Murray, of all and sundry the lands and lordship of Balquhidder, with castles, towers, mills, woods, fishings and others thereof particularly contained in the said charter, containing therein an union of the same, with his majesty's promise to make this present ratification, and all and sundry other points, articles, heads and clauses contained in the said charter and infeftment after the form and tenor thereof in all points, as the same of the date at Holyroodhouse, 14 October 1591, bears.
