The running parliament of the most excellent prince James VI, king of Scots, held at Edinburgh on 19 May 1584 by the said supreme lord our king and the three estates, along with Francis [Hay], feuar of Erroll, compearing for himself, and also Andrew [Hay], earl of Erroll, his father, the constable, George [Keith], earl Marischal of Scotland, Francis [Stewart], earl of Bothwell, sheriff of Edinburgh, and Andrew Lindsay, judge, for the officers of parliament.
