Ratification granted to Harry Stewart, son to James Stewart of Doune, of the abbey of Inchcolm

Our sovereign lord, with advice of the three estates of parliament, ratifies, approves and confirms the gift and disposition made to Harry Stewart, son lawful to James Stewart of Doune, knight, making him undoubted abbot and commendator of Inchcolm and to the whole fruits and emoluments thereof during his lifetime, with the reservation and possession granted to James, commendator of Inchcolm, his father, of the same fruits and emoluments in case of his said son's decease before him, according to his said gift and disposition in all points, and declares the same to have full strength and effect in all time coming, of the which the tenor follows: [...]
