Our sovereign lord, with advice and consent of the three estates of this present parliament, ratifies, approves and confirms the disposition, charter and infeftment granted and given by our sovereign lord, with advice of his regent for the time, to Andrew Kerr of Faldonside and his heirs heritably of all and whole the third part of the lands and barony of Bolton, with the tower, manor place, parts, pendicles, annexes, connexes, tenants, tenantries and service of free tenants, orchards, yards, mills, multures, with donation of chaplainries and altarages of the same and their pertinents, lying within the constabulary of Haddington and sheriffdom of Edinburgh, and likewise the presentation obtained by the said Andrew of the heritable infeftment made to him of the lands of Darnik and Bridgend, with all their pendicles and pertinents, lying within the lordship of Melrose and sheriffdom of Roxburgh, as in the infeftments and titles made and granted to the said Andrew thereupon at more length is contained, with the whole points, passes, clauses and articles specified therein, after the form and tenor thereof, expressly declaring by this act that the same is not, nor shall be, in any way comprehended under our sovereign lord's revocation presently made at this present parliament, but that the same is, and shall be, excepted, likewise our said sovereign lord, with advice aforesaid, by the tenor hereof, excepts the same out of the said revocation, and also decrees this present declaration and exception is, and shall be, of as great force and value as the same had been contained and inserted therein, and likewise declares the said infeftments, presentations, rights and titles made, given and granted to the said Andrew, in manner above-written, to have full force, strength and effect in all times coming, to the effect that he and his heirs may peaceably enjoy and possess the said lands and others aforesaid, according to his former titles thereof; and letters of publication to pass hereupon, if need be, in the appropriate form.
