In the said parliament haldin at Edinburgh, day, monethe and yeir respective foirsaidis, compeirit Maister Thomas Nicolsoun, elder, advocate, procuratour for Archebald, lord Lorne, and solemplie protestit that the kirk off Rosnethe suld nawayes be transportit out of the Yle of Rosnethe quhair the samene presentlie standis to that pairt of the mayneland of the said parochin callit the landis of Ardinconnell, bot that the same suld remayne quhair it presentlie standis, nochtwithstanding of the supplicatioun gevin in to that effect be the gentle men and parochoneris of the said paroche kirk of Rosnethe foundit upoun the alledgit incommodius situatioun of the said paroche kirk; quhairupoun the said Maister Thomas, in name of the said Archebald, lord Lorne, askit instrumentis.
