Oure soverane lord and estaittis of this present parliament ratiefies and apprevis the tua infeftmentis respective efter specifit: the ane thairoff made and grantit be his majestie under his hienes grychte seall to his hienes right traist cousing and counsellour Williame, earle of Angus, lord Douglas and Abirnethie, in lyverent for all the dayes of his lyftyme and his hienes right traist cousing Archbald, lord Douglas, maister of Anguse, his eldest lauchfull sone, his airis maill and of tailyie thairin contenit, off all and haill the landis and baronie of Wandell, with the annexis, connexis, outseattis, partis, pendicles and pertinentis, tennentis, tenandries and service of frie tennentis, milnes, milnelandis, woddis, fischeingis, advocatioun, donations and right of patronage of the kirkis, benefices and chaplanries thairoff, and all thair pertinentis, lyand within the schirefdome of Lanerk, contening ane new gift with supplement off all faultis and imperfectiounes to be haldin off oure said soverane lord and his successoures in frie blenche, fie and heretage for evir, for the yeirlie payment of ane pennye usuall money of this realme of Scotland upoun the ground of the saidis landis at the feast of Witsondaye in name of blenche ferme, gif it beis askit, of the date at Theobalis, the sextene day of September, jM vjC and sevintene yeiris; and the uther of the saidis infeftmentis made and grantit be his majestie under his hienes grychte seall to the said William, erle of Angus, his aires maill, successouris and assignais quhatsumevir heretablie, off all and haill the landis of Milnemure, with the pertinentis, being proper pairt and pertinent of the lordschip off Douglas lyand within the said schirefdome of Lanerk, and siclyik off all and sindrie the teindschevis of the toun, landis, territorie and boundis of the burgh of Lanerk, callit the inteyndis of the said burgh of Lanerk, with the pertinentis of the samen quhatsumevir lyand within the parochin and schirrefdome of Lanerk foirsaid, conteaning ane new gift with supplement of all faultis and imperfectiounes to be haldin off his majestie and his successouris in frie blenche for payment of the blenche dewtie thairin contenit, off the date at Halierudhous, the sevint day of Merche, jM vjC and tuentie yeiris, with the preceptis and instrumentis of seasing following thairupoun, in all and sindrie poyntis, heiddis, articles, clauses and conditiounes thairin contenit efter the formes and tennoures thairoff. Lyik as his majestie and estaittis foirsaidis statutes and ordanis that this present ratificatioun and confirmatione of the saidis infeftmentis, preceptis and instrumentis of seasing following thairupoun is and salbe als valide, effectuall and sufficient in all respectis as gif the saidis infeftmentis, preceptis and instrumentis of seasing following thairupone wer at length and worde be worde insert and ingrossit in this present act.
