Forsamekle as in this present sessioun of parliament thair ar many ratifications past wherin divers and new clauses ar insert, whilkis may be prejudiciall to particular parties richts and derogative to many and sindrie lawis lawfullie maid and establesed of before, albeit the meanyng of the estaits be at this tyme, as it was evir in all preceding parliaments, that be na act of ratificatioun any uther partie suld be hurt and prejudged; for remeid whereof, it is statute and ordenit that no ratificatioun past in this present sessioun of parliament suld be prejudiciall to any privat parties richt, bot that the saidis ratificationes be alwayes understude, whether they be generall or speciall, to be salvo jure cujuslibet.
