Oure soverane lord and estaittis of this present parliament ratefeis and perpetualie confermes all and whatsumevir infeftmentis of fewferme, chartouris, preceptis, instrumentis of seasing and utheris evidentis and securiteis maid and grantit be the provest, bailleis, counsaill and communitie of the burgh of Kintor, to and in favouris of George, erle Mairshall, lord Keith and Altrie, his predecessouris and authouris, of and concerning whatsumevir landis, mylnis, woddis, fischeingis, tenementis, yairdis and utheris thairin contenit sett in fewferme and disponit to them be the saidis provest, bailleis, counsaill and communitie foirsaidis; and decernis and declaris that the foirsaidis infeftmentis ar and sall be gude, valide, effectuall and sufficient infeftmentis, richtis and securiteis to the said George, erle Marschell, his saidis predecessouris and authouris, thair airis and assignais thairin nominat, for bruiking, joising, useing and disponing upoun the saidis landis and utheris thairin expressit as their propir heretage at thair plesure in tyme cummig, siclyke als frelie and in the samin forme and maner as gif his majestie and estaittis of parliament had befoir the making and granting of the saidis infeftmentis, gevin power, libertie and licence be ane speciall act and ordinance of parliament to the saidis magistrattis and communitie of the said burgh of Kintor to sell, dispone or sett in fewferme thair saidis landis, mylnis and uthairis contenit in the saidis infeftmentis, or as gif the samin had bene disponit be them in plane parliament with consent of his majestie and estaittis to the said Erle Merschall and his foirsaidis for great, sene and weichtie causes. Attoure, it is statute and ordanit that the generalitie abone writtin anent the saidis infeftmentis is and shall be als gude and sufficient as gif all the particular infeftmentis, evidentis and securities of the foirsaidis landis, mylnis and utheris thairin expressed maid and grantit to and in favouris of the said George, erle Mairschell, his saidis predecessouris and authouris thairupoun, wer ad longum et de verbo in verbum specialie and perticularlie sett down and insert thairintill, anent the whilkis and ony defectis that ony wayes may resulte thairupoun, our said soverane lord and estaittis foirsaidis hes dispensit and be thir presentis dispenses.
