Ratificatioun off the lordship of Dunfermeling to the quenis majestie

Oure soverane lord and estaitis in parliament ratefeis and apprevis and for his majestie and his successoris perpetuallie confirmis the chartour or infeftment under the great seall maid and grantit be his hienes to the rycht excellent Princes Anna, quene of Scotland, his hienes derrest spous, and to the airis lauchfullie gottin or to be gottin betuix his majestie and his said derrest spous, quhilkis failyeing (as God forbid), to his hienes airis and successoris to the crowne of this realme quhatsumevir, off all and haill the monastarie and abbacie of Dunfermling lyand on bayth the sydis of the watter of Forthe underwrittin, with the erectioun, creatioun and incorporatioun mentionat in the samin off the said abbacie and pertinentis thairof efter specifiit in ane haill frie and temporall lordship in all and sindrie poyntis, passis, articlis, clauses, immuniteis, exemptionis and privelegis thairin contenit, and willis and declaris that the samin infeftment and erectioun foirsaid specifiit in the samin infeftment is now and in all tyme cunming salbe als valid and sufficient and of als great efficacie, force, strenthe and effect to his hienes derrest spous foirsaid, thair airis and successoris abonementionat as gif the said infeftment had bene gevin and grantit and the abbacie foirsaid had bene erectit in ane temporall lordship be his majestie with all advyis and consentis requisit thairto befoir the making of the act of anexatioun of the temporall landis of all prelaceis to the patrimonie of his hienes crowne, quhilk was in the monethe of [...] the yeir of God jM vC lxxxvij yeiris, or that the said abbacie had bene speciallie exceptit furthe of the samin act notwithstanding thairof or ony uthair act, law, statut or ordinance canoun, civill or municipall maid or to be maid in the contrair; quhairanent his hienes, with advyis of his saidis estaitis, for thame and thair successoris, hes dispensit and be thir presentis dispensis. And for mony great and wechtie causes, declaris the foirsaid act of anexatioun, nor na thing following or that may follow thairupon, salbe hurtfull, prejudiciall or onywayis dirogative to the said infeftment or to ony poynt or article thairin contenit or to ony wryit or securitie quhairupon the samin procedit or that hes followit or sall follow or proceid thairfra in ony tym bigane or to cum.
