Oure soverane lord and estaitis of this present perliament ratifies, apprevis and for his hienes and his successouris perpetuallie confirmes the erectioun of the burgh of Abirdene in ane frie burgh, with all infeftmentis, privileges, richtis and titles maid and grantit be his hienes and his predicessouris unto thame of befoir, and decernis and declares the same to stand in the full strenth, force and effect in tyme to cum.

Oure soverane lord, in presence of the estaitis of this present parliament, ratifies, apprevis and for his hienes and his successouris perpetuallie confirmis the acquittance and discharge grantit be his hienes, with avise of the lordis of secreit counsaill and of his hienes comptroller, to the provest, baillies, counsaill and communitie of the burgh of Dundie and thair successouris off the sowme of tuentie thousand pundis as that pert of his hienes tocher quhilk wer deponit and put in thair handis be the said comptrollair in his majesties name, and of the haill byrunnis of the yeirlie proffite of the said sowme off all yeris and termes preceding the dait heirof; granting thairwith lykwayis the contract and appointment maid permanent betuix the said comptroller in his hienes name on the ane of pert, and certane commissionaris of the burrowis of this realme on the uther pert, of the dait the [...] day of Julii jM vC fourscoir ten yeiris, to be fulfillit and kepit in all pointis conforme to the tennour thairof be the saidis provest, baillies, counsaill and communitie of the said burgh for thair pertis, as the samyn acquittance and discharge of the dait the sextene day of Maii lastbypast at mair lenth proportis; togidder with all and sindre pointis, articles, circumstances and conditionis mentionat thairintill, willing, granting and declaring that this present ratificatioun salbe als valide and effectuall as gif the foirnamit acquittance and discharge wer word be word ingrossit in this present act; anent the quhilk, and all defaltis and defectis that may follow thairupoun, his majestie and estaitis foirsaidis be thir presentis dispenses for evir.

Oure soverane lord and the estaitis of this present parliament ratifies and apprevis the gift of the office of the keping of the castell of Edinburgh grantit be his majestie to his richt traist cousing and counsellour Johnne, erll of Mar, lord Erskin and Alloway etc., with the assignatioun of the money and wictuall assignit thairin far keping of the said castell etc., in all and sindre pointis, heidis, clauses and conditionis thairin contenit efter the forme and tennour thairof, to the effect the said assignatioun of the wictuall and money abonespecifiit contenit in the said gift appointit for sustentatioun of the said castell and keping thairof may be the mair effectuall. Oure said soverane lord and estaitis revokis, rescindis, cassis and annullis all and quhatsumevir pensionis, giftis, assignationis or ony uther dispositionis quhatsumevir maid be his hienes to the hurt and prejudice of the said assignatioun contenit in the said gift and quhilk may impeid and stay the peceable bruiking, uplifting and intrometting with the said wictuall and money thairin contenit in onywayes, decerning and declaring the samyn pensionis, giftes, assignationis and dispositionis to be null and of nane availl in all tyme cuming.

The kingis majestie and estaitis of this present parliament ordanis the generall act of dissolutioun maid in this present parliament of the propirtie of the croun to be extendit, lyk as thay extend the same in favouris of the quenis majestie to the effect his hienes may haif sic richtis and infeftmentis of quhatsumevir landis pertening to hir as scho haid befoir; as also in favouris of the Lord Drummond anent the forrest of Glenarknay and of Schir Johne Murray of Tullibardin, knicht, conceirning the landis and lordschip of Balquhidder; and also in favouris of Andro Wod of Largo tuiching the landis of Schirmure, Largo, Bawicky, Kingis Mylne, with thair pertinentis, coillis and coilheuchis of the samen landis, to the effect the same may be sett in few to thame be his majestie, with avise of the personis specifiit in the said act of dissolutioun, in maner as the same wer bruikit be thame ofbefoir.
