†Oure soverane lord, now efter his perfite aige of xxj yeiris compleit, with advise of the thrie estaittis of this present parliament, having consideratioun of the auncietie of the hous of Rossyth and of the gude service done to his majesties predicessouris be the heretable proprietairis of the samin, and that the samin sall not pas fra the surname in his majesties tyme, speciallie be ony occasioun or questioun that his majestie may querrell the samin for him selff and his successouris, ratifies and apprevis all and quhatsumever infeftmentis of tailye gevin be umquhile David Stewart of Rossyth to umquhile Williame Stewart of Baroyhill, his airis maill and assignais, of all and haill the baronie and manis of Rossyth, with the toure, fortalice, milne, fischeingis, dowcattis, annexis, connexis, pairtis, pendicles and pertinentis thairof, the landis of Cragie, Gartpor, thrid part landis of Fordell, Culbate and Straburne, the landis of Leucheld, Pitravy, Wester Cleische, Dunduff, Colstoun, Balnamvill and Monctoy, with the pertinentis, lyand within the sherefdome of Fiffe; the landis and baronie of Durisdeir, liand within the sherefdome of Dumfreis; the landis of Corbies, Bacquhandies, Laitgrene, with the pertinentis, liand within the sherefdome of Perth, all unit and annext in ane baronie callit the baronie of Rossyth; and als of all and haill the landis and baronie of Schambodie, lyand within the sherefdome of Clackmannan, with the confirmatioun grantit be his hienes predicessouris of guid memorie, King James the Ferd thairupoun, togidder with quhatsumevir uther infeftmentis of tailye past sensyne be ony of his majesties predicessouris to David Stewart, sone to the said Williame Stewart of Barryhill, and his airis maill and of tailye, of all and haill the lands and utheris abonewrittin, or to Henry Stewart of Rossyth, sone to the said David, or to Robert Stewart, sone to the said Henry, or to George Stewart, sone to the said Robert, and thair airis maill and of tailyie contenit thairintill, past ather upoun resignatioun or confirmatioun, notwithstanding the samin ar grantit be his majesties predicessouris in thair minorities, togidder with seisingis following thairupoun; and willis and declairis that the samin salbe of als grite strenth and force as gif thai had bene grantit be his majesties predicessouris in thair majoritie, notwithstanding of ony revocatioun quhilk his hienes, for him selff and his successouris, of his certane knawlege, hes renuncit and renuncis for evir, with all actioun that his majestie may have aganis the saidis landis for ony caus bigane, to the effect that the samin may remane with Hary Stewart, now present proprietair thairof, and his airis maill and of tailyie in all tyme cuming, dischargeing his hienes advocat present and to cum of all calling, trubling or querrelling of the said Harie Stewart upoun the validitie of the title of onie of the saidis infeftmentis or of his awin present infeftment and rycht thairof for onie of the saidis causis and of thair offices in that part.
