And to that effect, oure said soverane lord and his saidis thre estaittis, be thir presentis, gevis full power to the said Dame Margaret to mak sercheouris, ane or ma, quha may serche and intrometwith the said refynit salt to be maid be utheris personis contrair the tennour of this privilege and to dispone thairupone as said is; and gif the saidis sercheouris in executioun of thair offices salhappin to be deforceit, the committaris of the said deforcement salbe rigorouslie punissit as gif thai had deforcit oure soverane lordis officiaris in executioun of his office: that is to say, be escheit of thair guidis moveable and be punishement of thair personis to the will and plesour of oure said soverane lord.
