†The quhilk day, Maister Johnne Grahme of Halyairdis, ane of the senatouris of the college of justice and justice depute to ane noble and michty lord, Coline,† erle of Ergile, lord Campbell and Lorne, justice generall of this haill realme, protestit solempnitie that the act of parliament past this present day anent the furtherance of justice in criminall jugement suld on na wys turne the said erle to ony prejudice, bot that he mycht enjoy his office with all commodities and privilegeis belanging thairto as gif the said act had nevir bene maid.
