Anent the supplicatioun presentit to our soverane lord and three estaitis of parliament be David Murray, ane of his majesties maisteris of stable, makand mentioun that quhair his hienes and the saidis thre estaitis in the last parliament haldin at Edinburgh ratefeit and confirmit the gift gevin to the said David of the heretable gift of the landis of Kirkpottie and Collennocheis, quhilk pertenit of befoir to Gawin Hamiltoun, sumtyme of Roplocht, notwithstanding ony benefite grantit to him sensyne, and in the same parliament his majestie revokit all giftis and dispositionis maid to quhatsumevir personis of foirfaltit landis (except sa mony ar exceptit in speceale), and upoun the said generall revocatioun the said David obtenit his majesties gift of the liferent of the saidis landis quhilkis pertenit to Jeane Dischingtoun, spous to the said Gawin, and becaus the benefite grantit to the said Jeane of the liferent of the saidis landis wes not revokit in speceale, the said David is troubled and molestit throw allegit sufficiencie of his richt; thairfoir our said soverane lord, with advise of the saidis thrie estaitis of this present parliament, revokis and annullis in speciall all benefices grantit to the said Jeane Dischingtoun at ony tyme bigane, and speceallie anent hir liferent of the saidis landis quhairby the said David may peceably bruik and joys the samin according to his gift and infeftment ratefeit in parliament of befoir, and als ratefeis and apprevis the said gift grantit to the said David of hir liferent of the saidis landis.
