And immediatlie thairefter, the kingis majestie being personallie present, commandit the said Maister David Makgill, his hienes advocat, to pas fra the persute of the saidis Johne Levingstoun, younger of Dynnypace, Willime and Michaell Elphingstonis, brether to the Lord Elphingston, William Dowglas of Bonkle and William Lyoun of Bagillie, and siclyk commandit the said clerk of registri and his deputis to deleit thame furthe of the said summundis of foirfaltrie, quhilkis war presentlie done in presens of the kingis majestie and lordis of articles be the said advocat and Alexander Hay, clerk of registri, and thairupoun the said advocat askit instrumentis.

The quhilk day, Maister David Makgill, advocat to oure soverane lord, for verefeing of the ressoun contenit in the said summundis rasit aganis Dame Dorathie Stewart, countes of Gourie, and Dame Agnes Drummond, countes of Mar, younger, repetit thair awin confessionis, confessit instantlie be thame in presens of the lordis of articles, and the act maid in the last continewit parliament upoun the xxij day of Maii lastbipast, intitulat 'An act for disherising of the posteritie of the Erll of Gowrye', and siclyk the said advocat, for preving of the said ressoun aganis the saidis erle of Anguis, erle of Mar, Maister of Glames and Maister James Erskene, producit sindrie missive wrytingis subscrivit and send be thame to sindrie of oure soverane lordis liegis, desyring and seduceing thame to assist thame and thair complices in their interprice at Striveling, and repetit the notorietie of the deid and thair fleying in Ingland for the same caus; and lykwayis producit the depositioun and confessioun of the said Ladie Cassillis and the depositionis of sindrie witneses, examinat of befoir in presens of the kingis majestie and lordis of his hienes secreit counsale, and repetit the notorietie of the deid and the said act of parliament, for preveing of the ressoun contenit in the said summundis of foirfaltour rasit aganis hir; and inlykmaner, for preveing of the said ressoun aganis the commendater of Cambuskynnet and Maister Johne Colvile, repetit the notorietie of the deid, the said act of parliament and licence grantit to thame to pas furthe of the realme and nocht to cum in Ingland nor Irland, and notwithstanding thairof that thay reparit in Ingland and trafiquit for the Erlis of Angus, Mar and the rest of the saidis conspiratoris at the court of Ingland, togidder with the declaratioun of the Archiebischop of Sanctandrois, quhairbie he declairit, in presens of the kingis majestie and lordis of articles, that he saw thame bayth in Ingland efter the said licence grantit. And alsua the said advocat, for preveing of the ressoun of the said summundis of tressoun aganis David, commendater of Dribrught, Williame, commendater of Paslay, Johne Leslie of Buchane, George Dowglas of Parkheid, James and George Dowglas, his son, James Dowglas of Todhoillis, Johne Dowglas of Glaspen, [...] Dowglas, sone and aperand air to Williame Dowglas of Bonkle, Patrik Drummond, apperand of Carnok, Johne Carmichaell, [...]ger of that Ilk, Hew Carmichaell, his sone, Williame Carmichaell of Rowntriecorce, Johne Lyoun Younger of Cossynis, James Lyoun of Eister Ogill, Hew Nesbet of Raschill, Patrik Home of Argateis, Johne Leslie of Largie, Robert Hammiltoun of Cors, Arthour Hammiltoun, callit of Bothuelhauche, Maister Patrik Quhitlaw of Newgrange, Johne Arbuthnot of Lyntusk and James Murray of Pardows, repetit the notorietie of the deid and that they and ilkane of thame ar fugitive and hes fled in Ingland, togidder with the said act of parliament; upoun the quhilkis premisis, the said advocat askit instrumentis.

And siclyk the samine day, the said advocat for verefeing of the ressoun contenit in the said summundis of tressoun rasit aganis Johne Ross of Craigie as brother and apperand air of umquhill James Rossof Pettheifles, instantlie producit Mathou Baillie, Gawand Stewart and Allane Stewart, servandis to the Erle of Arane, in presens of the lordis of articles, quha war sworne and examinat in thair presens upoun the ressoun contenit in the said summundis, and siclyk repetit the notorietie of the deid and desyrit the kingis majestie and lordis of articles to proceid to the advising of the said summundis, howsone his majestie and lordis plesit; and thairupoun he askit instrumentis.
