Oure soverane lord, with avise and consent of the thrie estatis of this present parliament, ratefeis, apprevis and confermis the charter of infeftment maid, grantit and disponit to William Stewart, youngar, writtar, burges of Edinburgh, of all and haill the landis and baronie of Thuristoun, Wodhall and Wadelie, with mylnis, multuris, tennentis, tenandreis, service of frie tennentis of the samyn, pendicles and pertinentis thairof, liand within the schirefdome of Edinburgh and constabularie of Hadingtoun, and be annexatioun within the schirefdome of Renfrew, as becum in or soverane lordis handis throw proces and dome of foirfalture ordourlie led and deduceit aganis umquhill James, sumtyme erll of Mortoun, lord Dalkeyth etc., or be dispositioun to his sonnis naturall efter the committing of certane crymis of treasoun and lesemajestie quhairof they ar convict, as in the proces ordourlie led and deduceit thairupoun at mair lenth is contenit, with the haill pointis, pas, clausis and articles contenit thairintill, quhilk is of the dait at Halieruidhous, the thrid day of Junii, the yeir of God jM vC lxxxj yeiris, sua that the said Williame, his airis and assignais may peceablie bruik and jois the foirsaidis landis, with the pertinentis, conforme to his said infeftment maid to him thairof in all tymes cumming efter the forme and tennor of the samyn, notwithstanding his hienes generall revocatioun, as gif the samyn had bene speciallie exceptit furth thairof, and ordinis lettres of publicatioun to be direct heirupoun in forme as effeiris.
