Oure soverane lord and thrie estaitis of this present parliament ratefiis and apprevis the letter of tak and assedatioun maid be oure soverane lordis umquhile darrest fader and darrest moder to Maister William Baillie, lord Provand, president of the college of justice, his airis and assignayis, of all and haill the thrid of the personage of Glasgow, alsweill teindschawis thairof as uther fructis and emolumentis belanging thairto, and speciallie the teind schawis of all and haill the landis of Provand, with the continentis, lyand within the baronie of Glasgow and schirefdome of Lanark, for the yeirlie payment and dewtie thairfore of the sowme of lxxxviij lib. xviij s. money of this realme conform to the said letter of tak in all pointis, of the dait the xxviij day of Januar, the yeir of God jM vC lxv yeiris, with the twa severall confirmatiounis grantit be oure soverane lord thairupoun, the ane of the dait the [...] day of [...], the yeir of God jM vC [...] yeiris, and the uther of the dait the [...] day of [...], the yeir of God jM vC [...] yeiris, togidder also with the new nynetene yeir tak sett be Maister Archibald Dowglas, late persone of the said personage, to the said Maister Williame, his airis and assignayis, of all and haill the thrid of the said personage, in the quhilkis ar comprehendit the teind schawes of the landis of Provand, beand the patrimonie of his awin benefice, and als the teindis of the landis of Ovir Carntoun, Nether Carnetoun, Kendie Hill, Haghill, Dalbayth and middill quarter of Schettelstoun, with thair pertinentis, quhairof the said Maister Williame hes bene in use and possessioun be ressoun of his formar takkis in all pointis, clausis and articlis contenit thairintill, of the dait the [...] day of [...], the yeir of God jM vC [...] yeiris, and decernis and declaris the said Maister Williame to bruik and joyis the thrid of the said personage, with the teind schawes particularlie abonewrittin conform to his saidis richtis and titillis respective abonespecefiit during the yeiris contenit thairintill; and ordanis lettres to be direct heirupoun, gif neid beis, in forme as effeiris.
