The quhilk day oure soverane lord, with advise of his thre estatis in this present parliament, decernis and declaris that the act maid in this present parliament aganis the unlawfull profite be the capitanis and keparis of the kingis castellis sall on na wais extend to the dispossessing of Robert Erskin of Lytill Sauchy and James Colvile of Eister Wymis, or annulling of thair infeftmentis of the landis of Strakynnes and Ballone, with the kirklandis of Couper and the Clink Mylne, utherwais nor salbe decernit be decreit arbitrall to pas upoun the compromit maid betuix Coline, erll of Ergyle, chancellair and justice generall, and James, lord of Doun, takand the burding on thame for Dame Elizabeth Stewart, countesse of Murray, and Margaret Stewart, hir suster, dochteris to umquhile James, erll of Murray, lord Abernethie, regent to oure soverane lord, his realme and leigeis for the tyme, and for James, now erll of Murray, spous to the said Elizabeth for his enteres, and for the tutouris and curatouris of the said Dame Elizabeth, his said spous, thair tutouris and the tutouris and curatouris of the said Margaret Stewart, on the ane pairt, and the said Robert Erskein on the uther pairt, referrit be the saidis pairteis to certane indifferent personis and freindis and to oure soverane lord as ourisman and odisman; and that quhill the said decreit arbitrale be pronuncit and the effect thairof fulfillit, the saidis Robert and James sall bruik the saidis landis according to thair infeftmentis, quhilkis oure soverane lord, with advise of his saidis estaitis, ordanis to stand in full force and effect in the menetyme.
