Oure soverane lord, with avise and consent of the thrie estaitis of this present parliament, and upoun wechty and gude considerationis tending to the estableshing of peace and quietnes and universale obedience of his hienes authoritie within this realme, hes gevin and grantit and, be the tennoure heirof, gevis and grantis to Henry Hepburne of Fortoun that he salhave, brouke and enjoy the like benefite, favour, privilege and conditionis as ar contenit in the pacificatioun maid and accordit upoun at the burgh of Perth upoun the xxiij day of Februar, the yeir of God jM vC lxxij yeiris, ratifeit and apprevit sensyne in the parliament haldin at Edinburgh in the moneth of Aprile, nixt thairefter in the yeir of God jM vC lxxiij yeiris; and that the said pacificatioun be als largely and favorablie extendit in the said Henryes favouris as gif he had bene specialie nominat and comprehendit thairin for brouking of his landis, leavingis, honouris, rowmes, possessionis, heritages, gudis and geir, as gif he had bene specialie nominat and comprehendit thairin, or as gif the haill articles, clauses and conditionis of the same wer heirin expreslie specifiit; and thairfoir oure said soverane lord, with avise foirsaid, hes ratifeit and apprevit and, be the tennoure heirof, ratifeis and apprevis the foirsaid pacificatioun gevin and grantit to the said Henry in maner abonewrittin in all poyntis, efter the forme and tennoure thairof, and declaris the samin to have full strenth, force and effect in all tyme cuming, providing alwayis that the samin extend not to the murtheris of oure said soverane lordis umquhile dearest father and twa regentis, bot be this presentis specialie and expreslie exceptis the samin.
