The benefite of pacificatioun grantit to Johnne Ritchertsone

Oure soverane lord, with avise and consent of the thrie estaitis of parliament, for gude considerationis moving his hienes tending to the quietnes of this realme, and of his speciall grace and favour, hes gevin and grantit and, be the tennoure of this present act, with avise and consent foirsaid, gevis and grantis to Johnne Ritchertsone, saidlair, burges of Edinburgh, the like grace, benefite and favour as is contenit in the pacificatioun maid at Perth,, the xxiij day of Februar, the yeir of God jM vC lxxij yeiris, betuix his hienes commissioneris on that ane part, and umquhile George, erle of Huntly, and certane his colligis on that uther part, ratifeit and apprevit in his hienes parliament haldin at Edinburgh in the moneth of Aprile, the yeir of God jM vC lxxiij yeiris; and hes ordanit the said pacificatioun to be als largely and favorably extendit in his favouris for the securitie of him, his lyf, landis, heritages, possessionis, guidis and geir quhatsumevir as gif he wer specialie and expreslie nominat thairin, or as gif the haill articles, clausis and conditionis of the samin wer heirin contenit and expressit. And for the better securitie, oure said soverane lord, with advise of his saidis thrie estaitis, hes ratifeit and apprevit and, be the tennoure heirof, ratifeis and apprevis this present pacificatioun now gevin and grantit to the said Johnne and that the samin be als largelie and amplie extendit to him as the samin is or salbe extendit to the said George, erle of Huntlie, his colligis or ony utheris namyt in the said first pacificatioun and as gif he wer speciallie nominat in the samin, providing that the samin extend not to the murtheris of oure said soverane lordis umquhile dearest father and tua regentis, bot he to be anserable thairfoir as accordis, notwithstanding this pacificatioun.
