†Oure soverane lord, with avise of his thrie estaitis of this present parliament, hes ratefiit and apprevit, and, be the tennour heirof, ratefiis and appreves the act of parliament underwrittin maid in the parliament haldin at Streveling, upoun the xxviij day of August, the yeir of God jM vC lxxj yeiris, of new, and all pointis, clausis and articles contenit thairin efter the forme and tennour thairof, off the quhilk the tennour followis: Item, it is decernit and declarit be our soverane lord, with avise of my lord regentis grace and thrie estaitis, that all alienationis, resignationis, dimissionis and utheris dispositionis quhatsumevir maid, or to be maid, be ony persone or personis convict or that salhappin in ony† heirefter to be convict or foirfaltit for airt and pairt of the tressonabill murtheris and slauchteris of umquhile our soverane lordis derrest fader or regentis, of quhatsumevir landis, heritages, offices, benefices, rowmes or possessionis sen the tymes respective of the quiting thairof, ar and salbe null in thame selffis and of nane availl, force nor effect in all tymes cuming, with all that followit or salhappin to follow thairupoun, with this additioun: that oure said soverane lord, with avise of his saidis thrie estaitis of parliament, hes declarit and decernit that presentlie declaris and ordanis that the foirsaid act of parliament is and wes gude and valiabill fra the beginning, and that the samin suld haif had in tymes bygane and suld haif in all tymes cuming full effect, and that all thing, gif ony be done in the contrair, is and salbe null and of nane availl, force nor effect, notwithstanding ony alleigit practique maid in the contrair.
