In the parliament of the most excellent prince and our lord, the lord James V, by the grace of God, king of Scots, held at Edinburgh on 4 December 1540 by the lords commissioners written below.

Judicial proceeding: continuations of summons

On the which day Robert Colville, son of the late James Colville of Easter Wemyss, often called by royal summons under testimony of the great seal of the realm directed thereon to respond personally to the said supreme lord our king, or [James Stewart, earl of Moray], his justiciar, in the present parliament concerning certain treasonous actions contained in the said summons, and not compearing, it was continued to 10 December instant, with continuation of days, in the form and effect which it is now, without prejudice of the parties.

On the which day James Douglas of Parkhead, often called by royal summons under testimony of the great seal of the realm directed thereon to respond personally to the said supreme lord our king, or [James Stewart, earl of Moray], his justiciar, in the present parliament concerning certain treasonous actions contained in the said summons, and not compearing, it was continued to 10 December instant, with continuation of days, in the form and effect which it is now, without prejudice of the parties.

On the which day Christina Wardlaw, widow of the late Robert Leslie, Master Andrew Leslie, George Leslie, Master John Leslie, Gilbert Leslie, Elizabeth Leslie and Thomas Hamilton, her spouse, for his interest, [...] Leslie, nun, sons and daughters of God of the late Robert, often called by royal summons under testimony of the great seal of the realm directed thereon to answer personally to our supreme lord the king or his justiciar in the present parliament, and for seeing and hearing the said late Robert discerned to have incurred the crime of lese-majesty while he lived by the three estates for certain treasonous actions committed by him, and not compearing, it was continued to 10 December instant, with continuation of days, in the form and effect that it is now, without prejudice of the parties.
