The parliament of the most excellent prince and lord, our lord James V, by the grace of God most illustrious king of Scots, held at Edinburgh on 22 January 1528 [1529] by the lords commissioners written below, namely Patrick [Hepburn], earl of Bothwell, John [Erskine], lord Erskine, the venerable father in Christ Robert [Cairncross], abbot of Holyrood, Sir William Scott of Balwearie, Master Adam Otterburn of Auldhame [and Reidhall] and Nicholas Crawford of Oxgangs, justice clerk, by special commission of our supreme lord the king. On the which day the suits were called and the court fenced.
