The court of parliament of the most excellent prince held at Edinburgh, 18 January 1528 [1529], by the lords commissioners written below, namely Sir William Scott of Balwearie, Master Adam Otterburn of Auldhame [and Reidhall], Master Nicholas Crawford of Oxgangs, justice clerk, Master Francis Bothwell, burgess of Edinburgh, along with Patrick Baron, deputy of [William Keith], earl Marischal, and Peter Ramsay, deputy of [William Hay, earl of Erroll], constable, Andrew Dalmahoy, sergeant, and John Anderson, dempster. On the which day the suits were called and the court fenced.

On the which day John Home of Blackadder, Hugh Kennedy of Girvan Mains, Patrick Charters and Janet Douglas, lady of Glamis, often called by royal summons for the art and part, counsel, assistance, help and favour performed and exhibited to Archibald [Douglas], formerly earl of Douglas, towards the assembling of royal lieges and barons at Edinburgh for eight continuous days before 1 June, for treasonably invading of the royal person, and upon other articles as are more fully contained in the said summons, the said lords commissioners continued the said summons in the form and effect that it is now until 22 January of the instant month, with continuation of days, without prejudice of the parties.
