Judicial proceeding: continuation of summons

On the which day John Home of Blackadder, Hugh Kennedy of Girvan Mains, Patrick Charters and Janet Douglas, lady of Glamis, often called by royal summons for the art and part, counsel, assistance, help and favour performed and exhibited to Archibald [Douglas], formerly earl of Douglas, towards the assembling of royal lieges and barons at Edinburgh for eight continuous days before 1 June, for treasonably invading the royal person and upon other articles as are more fully contained in the said summons, the said lords commissioners continued the said summons in the form and effect that it is now until 18 January next to come, with continuation of days, without prejudice of the parties.
