The quhilk day, anentis the ansuer to be maid to the Duke off Holsteris secretare and writing send fra the said duke to the kingis hienes off his desiris, the lordis thinkis expedient that the kingis grace cause his secretare to write his effectuous lettres of recommendatioune to the said Duke of Holstere, his tender kynnissman and frennd; and as for his desiris contenit in his lettres and articulis maid tharupoune, that his grace sall send with diligence to the King of Ingland his speciale lettres and request to desist and cese fra all affectacioune of the realme of Denmark or uther landis pertenyng to the said duke or that he hes title to, and fra geving of ayd and supple aganis him to the Lubikis or ony utheris, and that his grace sall send his speciale writingis and messinger to the counsale and toune of Lubik to inquire and see the cause of the were and truble thai move and makis againis his said cousing, and to exhort thame to desist therfra; and as his grace gettis ansuer tharupoune and sall understand be ferther informacioune for quhat cause sick injuris, weris and wrangis ar movit aganis his cousing, his grace sall therefter do to his said cousing as he findis the cause and according to the proximite of blude, and sall nocht leif he said cousing unhelpit in his just and honest causis and actionis.
