Procedure: continuation of summons

We do inform you that our sovereign lord has, with the advice of his three estates of his parliament, for certain reasonable and great causes, continued all summons raised or to be raised until 14 October next, with continuation of days, except our sovereign lord's actions, the actions of foreigners and the actions of these undernoted persons, that is to say [Alexander Home], great chamberlain, the chapter of Glasgow, [George Leslie], earl of Rothes, [William Elphinstone], bishop of Aberdeen, [Laurence Oliphant], lord Oliphant against [Archibald Douglas], earl of Angus, [Archibald Whitelaw], secretary, and Master David Abercrombie's action.
