Item, anent the sending to the king of Denmark for the renewing of the aliancez maid betuix the realmes of Scotland and Denmark, the kingis and liegis of the sammyn, it is avisit and concludit that tharebe thre honorable persounis sende to the said king of Denmark - a knycht, a clerk and a burges - to be chosin at the kingis will and his consale, and that oure soverane lordis lettrez be writtin withe thaim for the performing of the thingis forsaid, withe mensioune to be maid in the sammyn lettrez of reformacioune and restorance to be maid agane to oure soverane lordis liegis and justice to be askit of Luthkin Mere and his complicis, quhilkis has done hevy injuris within oure soverane lordis watter.

Item, anent the article of the lordis to be chosin and be of consale to oure soverane lord, it is avisit and concludit that thir lordis underwrittin be of consale to his hienes quhill the nixt parliament, that is to say the erle of Crawfurd and the erle of Huntle, quhene thai cum, all prelatis and gret baronis elikwis at thar cuming, and to be contenualy of consale to his hienes thare lordis under writtin, or vj of thaim at the lest, with all the kingis officiaris and thai ay to be withe the kingis hienes to deliver upoune all debatable materis and be of consale to him, that is to say Robert, bischop of Glasgw, William, bischop of Abirden', Johne, prior of Coldinghame and Maister Alexander Inglis, archidene of Sancta[n]dr[ois] as for the clergy; and for the baronis William, erle of Erole, Johne, lorde Gla[m]mis, Andro, lord Gray, Laurence, lorde Olyphant, Johne, lord Drumond, William, lord Borthwik, Patrik Home of Fastcastell and Walter Ogilby; and that nane of the forsaid lordis pass or remove fra the kingis hienes without speciale licence of him or his chancellare and that for schort tyme, and ay vj to remane at the lest but variance, with the officiars forsaid.

Item, anent the article tuiching the byaris and sellaris of golde and silver cunyeit, it is avisit and ordanit be the thre estatis that it be a poynt of dittay in tyme tocum, and thai that beis conwickit thareof thare movable gudis sall be eschet to the king and thare persounis to be wardit for a yere at the will of the kingis hienes; and at the kirkmen that othir byis or sellis golde or silver cunyeit as said is, the lordis thinkis expedient that the bischopis ger tak inquesicioun tharof, ilkeane within his diocy, and he that beis conuict thareof that his bischop distrenye his froitis that is beneficiit for xl l., to the reperacioune of the haly kirk, and of thaim that ar nocht beneficiit x merkis and thare persounis to be punist be thare ordinaris; and as to the prelatis that beis fundin culpable herof, that the kingis hienes ger distrenye there temporaliteis for the double avale of the said soume.
