Judicial proceedings: act of the lords auditors of causes and complaints

Sederunt of the lords elected to the causes for parliament

Before noon 3 March

The lords auditors decree and deliver that John Dempster of Auchterless and John of Carnegie shall satisfy and pay Andrew Tweeddale 36 bolls of oats at the price of 30d the boll, and 2 oxen, 16s the price of each, spulzied and taken from the said Andrew just as was proved before the said lords, and also that they shall satisfy and pay the said Andrew 2 merks for his costs and injuries as sustained in the said matter, and the three witnesses who testified in the same, each one of them [to be paid] 5s, and ordain letters to distrenzie them of their lands and goods for this.
