Procedure: preamble

The court of parliament of our supreme lord the king, James III, by the grace of God most illustrious king of Scots, continued to 20 November 1478, held at Edinburgh in the tolbooth of the same by these underwritten commissioners having the strength of parliament as was previously proclaimed at the cross and marketplace of the said burgh.

On which day, the court fenced [and] the undernoted called [and] the absentees made public.
