An act passed and approved discharging the wearing of gold and silver lace etc. after 1 August.

An act rescinding all the acts of the parliament of 1640 and from that to 1648 inclusively, with another act for church government, read twice, voted and approved.†

A petition from the children of the deceased sheriff of Moray desiring that during the eldest son's minority, who is heritable sheriff, some friends might be warranted to exercise the place for his use. The lord commissioner nominated Sir Robert Dunbar of Grangehill.
