Order
Anent [James Graham], marquis of Montrose

Forasmuch as the estates of parliament did formerly appoint the act for rescinding the marquis of Montrose's forfeiture to lie unextracted until the act of indemnity should be passed, and understanding now that there is a process depending before the parliament and commission for bills at the marquis of Montrose's instance against [Archibald Campbell], marquis of Argyll, wherein it will be necessary to the pursuer to make use of this act; therefore, his majesty, with advice of his estates of parliament, ordains the clerk of register to give out under his hand an extract of this act rescissory to the effect the marquis of Montrose may make use of it in this process only and that notwithstanding the former order.
