A paper given in by those sent from the commissioners of the general assembly read in parliament and remitted to the committee for conference to draw the draft of an act of parliament again at their next meeting, and ordain [Sir Thomas Nicolson of Carnock], his majesty's advocate, to be present with them.
The parliament grant warrant to [Sir Thomas Ruthven], lord Ruthven [of Freeland], [Sir John Wauchope], laird of Niddrie-[Marischal] and Mr Alexander Douglas [of Downies] to take John Nairn's oath in the action pursued by Mr David Campbell against him, and to receive in the report.
Ordain the committee for the conference to meet presently for drawing the draft of the act, and the parliament to meet tomorrow at 8 o'clock.
