The king's majesty did name Sir Robert Moray to be justice clerk, the place being vacant in respect of [Sir Hugh Campbell], laird of Cessnock not accepting the same, which nomination was approved in parliament, and ordain an act to be extended and a gift to be passed to him under his majesty's great seal, and the said Sir Robert to be written for to proceed here with diligence to accept the place.

Remit heritors of Forfar to the committee of war thereof.

A paper concerning the overvaluing of money and stopping of exportation thereof read, whereupon his majesty and estates ordain three of every estates to be named as a committee to consider thereof, and to call for any they think fit and understanding in that matter to be assisting to them, the major parts the quorum, and to report their opinion thereof to the parliament.
