†Remit the minute of 24 December anent the giving liberty to those who are in charge of the army to have access to his majesty's person to be considered by the several bodies.
†Remit to the several bodies to confer anent such things which are most material to be done in parliament.
Report from the committee of bills anent [George Mackenzie], earl of Seaforth read and approved as in the documents.
†Supplication Captain Melville and Captain Ross and others read, and the supplicants recommended to the committee for the military affairs.
Act ordaining general letters of horning to be directed against the deficients in payment of the excise read and passed.
Supplication sheriffdom of Perth remitted to [Sir Adam Hepburn of] Humbie and Sir James Murray, to speak with the commissioners of the shire and [Sir John Smith of Grotehill], commissary-general, and report their opinion, and thereafter passed as in the documents as below.
Report burgh of Kinghorn read and approved.
Supplication commissioners who went to Holland to attend his majesty read and approved.
Remit to the committee for the military affairs to consider of General Major Massieand the other Englishmen.
Ordain those of the council who are here to attend his majesty at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the committee for military affairs at 3 o'clock, the several bodies at 4 o'clock and the parliament tomorrow at 9 o'clock.
