Deposition John Moss being read and being put to the question whether or not he might be allowed to seek an exchange, it was voted negative, and the king and parliament ordain the lieutenant general and the council of war to go on and judge him as a spy.
The king's majesty and parliament ordain [Sir Alexander Strachan of] Thornton's troop to be uplifted out of Kincardine.
His majesty and parliament declare that they will nominate lieutenant colonels and majors to [John Murray], earl of Atholl, [John Erskine], lord Erskine, [James Drummond], lord Drummond, [James Ogilvy], lord Ogilvy, [William Gray], master of Gray and Harry Mauld.
