Report from the committee of quarterings anent a month's pay to be advanced to those foot that are to come to Leith

Edinburgh, 13 June 1650

The committee of quarterings, namely: [Robert Balfour], lord [Balfour of] Burleigh, [Sir Hugh Campbell of] Cessnock, [Sir Thomas Ruthven of] Freeland, [John Hepburn of] Waughton, [David Wemyss of] Fingask, the general quartermaster, John Denholm, [...]. It is the humble opinion of this committee that the companies of foot appointed to come to the fortification of Leith come in provided with their pay for the month of June, and that the same be uplifted by them out of the localities where they are quartered for the present, who are to advance the same.

Edinburgh, 14 June 1650
