The estates of parliament now presently convened, by taking into their consideration the supplication given in to them by Sir Ludovic Houston of that ilk, knight, showing that where etc. (here to insert the tenor of the supplication), as at more length is contained in the said supplication. Which being taken into consideration by the said estates of parliament, they have given and by this act give full power and warrant to [...]†, or to any of his officers and his company, to concur, fortify and assist the sheriffs and other judges within whose jurisdiction the said rebels dwell and frequent in putting the aforesaid letters of caption to execution against them until they fulfil the command of the aforesaid letters of horning and caption, according to the tenor thereof.
