Warrant of parliament for the committee of excise
16 May 1650
The estates of parliament renew the commission formerly granted for the excise to the same persons already appointed, and ordain the same to endure until the same be discharged or otherwise by a new commission renewed, for the which this act is a sufficient warrant. At Edinburgh, 16 May 1650. As also recommend to the said committee to give a speedy dispatch to the accounts of [Sir James Stewart of Kirkfield and Coltness], commissary-general.
