[Production and exhibition of the honours in parliament]

[Archibald Campbell], marquis of Argyll anent the production of the honours

15 May 1650

The which day Archibald, marquis of Argyll, for himself and in name of the other commissioners for the treasury, exhibited and produced in presence of parliament the honours, namely: the crown, sceptre and sword, and upon the exhibition thereof, asked instruments; which were then instantly in face of parliament delivered to [Arthur Erskine], laird of Scotscraig in name of [William Keith], earl Marischal.
