The estates ordain every one of the prisoners to have 3s Scots a day so long as they are in prison, and to be paid by the town of Edinburgh this day until tomorrow when the parliament will take further course with them.
The estates of parliament ordain three of every estate to be named by the several bodies, with the king's advocate and the justice deputes, to be a committee to consider all the prisoners either already come or to come, and to distinguish them in lists according to their crimes, and to give their opinion anent the disposal of them to the parliament.
Letter from the lieutenant general of 10 May instant read, with the other paper therein contained, remitted to the committee of dispatches.

Letters from the commissioners, one of 25 March, with the paper within the same, another of 20 April, a third of 1 May, and another three directed to [John Campbell, earl of Loudoun], lord chancellor, [Archibald Campbell], marquis of Argyll and [...]†, whereof one of 20 April and the other two wanting dates and three papers sent with them, and the other papers anent the articles sent with the letters, with a letter from his majesty to the committee of estates of parliament of 3 May 1650, together with the other paper containing the commissioners' invitation of his majesty, read in parliament.
The estates of parliament appoint [Archibald Campbell], marquis of Argyll, [Sir David Home], laird of Wedderburn and [Sir James Stewart of Kirkfield and Coltness], provost of Edinburgh, to communicate to the commissioners of the general assembly the aforesaid letters and papers, and to show them the parliament's intention to keep their former correspondence, and to desire them to appoint a committee to meet with the committee of parliament to be appointed to consider upon matters to be communicated to them.
The estates appoint the committee of estates (to consist of seven of every estate) to be nominated, and refer the letters and papers come from the commissioners to be considered by them and report their opinion thereof to the parliament.
The estates remit Sir Robert Moray's supplication to the committee for the prisoners.
