[Remit Sir John Falconer to the committee of estates]

The which day the estates of parliament, having heard a supplication given in to them by Sir John Falconer concerning the striking of some copper coin, the copper thereof being lying in his hands, and considering the report of the subcommittee appointed for that effect, bearing that in regard of the several desires of many inhabitants in and about Aberdeen and Berwick, instructed by letters from these parts, the said Sir John be authorised and licenced to strike £10,000 of copper coin or thereabouts provided he vent them in England or any other foreign place or satisfy his creditors therewith, either of the two, as the parliament shall think fit in their wisdom to choose and appoint, therefore the said estates of parliament do remit and recommend the said desire, with the aforesaid report, to the committee of estates, with power to them to do therein as they shall think fit.
