Prayers said and rolls called.
The act for the supply being againe reade this day, some amendements were made therin. And it was referred to the lord register to receive in from any members of the convention lists of persons desyred to be insert in the act of convention to morrow in the forenoone; and appoynted that those who had been nominate by the parliament or councill to be commissioners of excyse bee also insert.
Resolved that the first day of meeting be condescended upon for ilk shyre, and that the major part of the whole number bee the quorum at the first meeting; and that the meeting bee impowered to appoynt any uther dyet of meeting, at which the major part of such as shall meet are to be a quorum, and the conveener bee impowered to call the commissioners for seing the act of convention putt in execution.
It being moved that the lyke clause may bee insert in this act as was in the act of convention in the year 1667 anent the poll money for releife of the heretors, and the same being putt to the vote, it was caried in the negative.
The lord commissioner's grace adjournes the convention till to morrow at four a clock in the afternoon.
