To my lord commissioner, his grace, and honorable lords of articles, the supplicatione of Sir Johne Cunyngham of Lambrughtoune, advocat.
Humbly sheweth,
That your petitioner being patrone of the churches of Kilmawers and Dreghorne, so that more than ordinarie caire is incumbent in him to sie to the repairatione of the saids churches and manses, both which ar ruinous throw the cairlessnes of incumbents and the vaccatione therof; and sieing the churche of Dreghorne was tuo yeares vaccant and the churche of Kilmawers one year, may it therfor please your grace and lo[rds] to allow the forsaid vaccand steepends to be imployed for repairatione of the saids churches and manses, which will wndoubtedly otherwise goe to ruine. And your grace and lo[rds] ansr.

The estats of parliament alloues the bygon vacant stipends for repaireing the kirks as is above desyred.
