[Act for calling, convening and adjourning parliament]

The parliament met this day at ten aclock; the first mater offered therin wes the act debate and agreed upon be the lords of the articles asserting the k[ing's] majestie, his prerogative royall, for calling, convening and adjourning off all subsequent parliaments, quherin also is containt that no parliament nor act thereof be in forced or conssented unto be the k[ing] or his commissioner, so that the legislative power is to remaine in the persone of our soveraigne lord, the k[ing]; it also being therein rescinding and repealling of all acts of parliament heretoffore made in opposition to this act, all which wes unanimouslie agreed with by the usuall members of parliament.
